For over 25 years, D.L. Building Materials has been a leader in the distribution of drywall and other specialized building materials. We are Eastern Ontario and Western Québec’s largest gypsum supply dealer (GSD). Our inventory includes a broad array of building materials and a complete line of interior systems from gypsum, metal framing, suspended and acoustic ceilings, soundproofing, insulating products and specialized tools, etc.
We opened our doors for the first time in February 1988. D.L. started small, operating with only 2 trucks and 5 employees. Today, we continue to expand and innovate. We have more than 80 dedicated employees and over 30 trucks working hard to serve you better. We have two branches; at 760 rue de Vernon in Gatineau, and at 765 Baker Crescent in Kingston, Ontario. Also, with over 64,000 square feet of warehouse and more than 196,000 square feet of yard space, we have become the largest drywall distributor in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Our extensive truck fleet and experienced boom crane operators have made us experts in the delivery of specialized building materials. Thanks to our knowledgeable staff and superior customer service, we have become the industry’s supplier of choice in our market.
In addition, D.L. Building Materials, has successfully entered the Commercial Door and Frame market. Thanks to our technical expertise, our exceptional delivery services and our energetic and friendly staff, we are quickly becoming Outaouais’ industry leader in this field.
As an affiliate of Le Groupe Beauchesne, we are the most important distributor of drywall supplies in Quebec. As part of Groupe Beauchesne, we have 6 locations in Quebec and Eastern Ontario.
In 2009, we also became a division of WSB Titan. Le Groupe Beauchesne joined forces with Shoemaker Drywall in western Canada and Watson Building Supplies in Ontario to create Canada’s largest privately owned and operated drywall, steel framing and insulation supplier.
